1. Who We Are
FlexiTuner is a mobile tuner and metronome app. We take the protection of your data seriously and aim to collect as little of it as possible.

2. No Account Required
FlexiTuner does not require you to create an account. The app works entirely on-device — we do not collect your name, email address, or any other directly identifying information.
3. Microphone Access
The App uses your device's microphone to detect pitch for tuning. Audio is processed entirely on-device in real time to analyze frequency — it is never recorded, stored, or sent to us or any third party.
4. What Data We Collect
On-Device Storage
The app stores your preferences (selected tuning, reference pitch, metronome settings, and app theme) locally on your device only. This data never leaves your device.
Advertising Data (Google AdMob)
The app is free and supported by advertising provided by Google AdMob. To serve ads, Google may collect:
- Your device's advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android)
- IP address and approximate location
- Device information (model, OS version)
- Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
On iOS, we request your permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework before any personalized advertising data is collected. If you decline, only non-personalized ads are shown.
On Android, we display a consent form before personalized ads are enabled where required. If you decline, only non-personalized ads are shown.
Google's use of advertising data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
Analytics (Mixpanel)
If you consent to personalized advertising, we also enable anonymized product analytics via Mixpanel to understand how the app is used, such as which screens and features are opened. No personal data or precise identifying information is sent to Mixpanel. If you do not consent, analytics are disabled entirely.
Analytics events are associated with a random identifier generated on your device — never your name, email, or any account, since the app has none. You can clear this identifier at any time from Settings → Privacy → Reset Analytics ID, which starts your usage history fresh going forward.
5. How We Use Data
We use data only to:
- Deliver and maintain the FlexiTuner app
- Show advertisements that fund the free app
- Understand how users interact with the app (only with consent)
We do not sell your personal data to third parties or share it with anyone outside of the service providers listed below.
6. Third-Party Service Providers
We share data only with the following sub-processors, each used to operate the service:

7. Your Rights and Choices
You can withdraw consent for personalized advertising at any time:
- iOS — go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and toggle off "FlexiTuner".
- Android — go to Settings → Google → Ads and reset or opt out of ad personalization.
- Analytics identifier — in the app, go to Settings → Privacy → Reset Analytics ID to sever your device from its past usage history at any time.
For any other data requests, including access, deletion, or questions about your rights under applicable law (such as GDPR or CCPA), email us at apps@funneldom.com. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Data Retention
We do not retain personal data on our own servers — there is no backend for this app beyond the third-party services listed above. On-device data is cleared when you uninstall the app. Third-party providers retain data according to their own policies.
9. Data Security
On-device data is stored in the app's private sandbox and is not accessible to other apps. All communication with third-party providers is encrypted via TLS.
10. Children's Privacy
FlexiTuner is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can address it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
